Freeze drying foods is a great way to ensure that you have food that is safe to eat in your home in any situation or circumstance. The freeze drying process greatly differs from other preservative methods because it dramatically affects the texture of the food. However, after freeze drying is completed, while the food will feel different, it will not lose any of its nutritional content or flavor. It will also last for a very long period of time when sealed up and stored away from moisture of any kind. Freeze dried emergency foods last a great deal of time, are extremely lightweight and are perfect for survival kits, disaster preparation, bug out bags or just to take on a long hike or camping trip. They are even used by astronauts. If you’ve ever had a piece of astronaut ice cream while visiting a space museum, then you should have some idea of what a freeze dried food product is like.

With the economy in shambles and so many people out of work, it may not seem like a great time to be thinking of starting your own business. However, despite the conclusions that most people draw, in a period of economic tribulation a variety of special opportunities can be taken advantage of. For example, it seems counterintuitive, to say the least, that as people struggle with little money, prices continue to rise. In a time like this, an entrepreneur who can figure out how to bring a quality product to the market at a low price is likely to find immense success. When people are cutting back costs and finding the necessity to eliminate non-essentials from their budget, their desire for luxury items actually increases. To be able to give those same people the ability to bring those little enjoyments back into their lives is a ticket to wealth.

Foods do not have as much of an effect on breath odors as most people assume. Most of the odors that occur in the mouth are caused by bad bacteria on the tongue and around the teeth that produce sulfur compounds, which are a harbinger of halitosis. This does not mean that your diet has no effect on your breath. What you put into your body affects every aspect of its functions in some way, which is why it is important to eat healthy foods.

Holiday is for letting it all hang out, treating yourself and family to things you don't get to enjoy every day. Splurging on fancy meals and fun cocktails is part of the vacation landscape, so it should not be sacrificed lightly. |fold a grocery bag neatly|
This is not a recipe post. But I believe an organized pantry/kitchen is one of the secrets for a delicious dish. I usually reuse plastic grocery bags. Most of the time I use those as garbage bags or liners for the dustbins. But how to store them nicely in less space? Until recent, I folded them into four and stored in another larger size bag. That plastic bag was always bulky and took much space inside my kitchen cabinet which I didn’t like.

Ginger garlic paste is an essential for cooking; most of the recipes including Sri Lankan recipes require ginger garlic paste, specially recipes like chicken curry. Until recent, I used to grind this when it is needed for a recipe. But it takes time to grind it frequently for each recipe and thought of preparing it in a large amount. However I still prepare it in a small quantity which is enough for 1-2 weeks.

Fish & seafood are a great source of protein. Also they contain healthy fats & omega-3 fatty acids that help keep your heart healthy. Therefore eating fish& seafood is good because of healthy benefits of it. However eating of wrong kind of fish more frequently may raise the level of mercury in your body. This is especially dangerous for pregnant and breastfeeding women because fetus and new-borns are very sensitive to mercury. Therefore it cannot be disadvantage if we know which fish to eat or which fish to avoid eating frequently.
All fish contain traceable amounts of mercury. However eating high mercury level fish more often may cause problems.
Mostly Big fish have more mercury. The simple reason is that big fish usually live longer having enough time to build up higher mercury level. In this fact, eating small fish is more better than eating big fish more often.
Below is the list of fish according to their level of mercury.
Again as a way to easy remembering, small fish is with lower mercury level while larger fish contain higher mercury level.

There are times which we need to find alternative ingredients for a recipe. Here are some substitutes for bread crumbs, corn syrup & heavy cream. However substitutions can change the flavour a little bit. Also the appearance of the outcome can be changed slightly.
Anyway these substitutions will be helpful if the wanted ingredient is not in the kitchen when you want to try a recipe or if it is difficult to find in local area.
