Spicy Corn with Pepper (Easy Bada Iringu Recipe)

Bada Iringu

Corn Recipes are always delicious with its creamy taste. In Sri Lanka, we always like to eat fresh corn cobs after boil in water.(Commonly called as ‘Bada Iringu’).Boiled Bada Iringu is a common street food in Sri Lanka, specially when we travel for long trips towards the southern part of Sri Lanka. I was lucky enough to eat fresh corn just after picked from the plant. Now, here in Singapore, I still buy corn cobs and try to adapt them in recipes. But GMO is something I am not very sure in these products.

Sweet corn Recipes

Fresh sweet corn is a sign of summer

Yellow sweet corn is a source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Like most vegetables, it is also low in fat and contains no cholesterol

There are many recipes with sweet corn, but the best way is to taste it after boiling.

Also it can be use as BBQ or grilled with soy sauce.

Adding to fried rice is a great idea.I always use frozen sweet corn, which save me time.It gives pleasing appearence other than freshly taste.
